Welcome to IPTV Player ("Application," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and IPTV Player regarding your access to and use of the IPTV Player software application on mobile devices, tablets, Android TV, and other supported platforms.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately uninstall and discontinue all use of the Application.

1. Description of Service & Clean-Slate Architecture

IPTV Player is an independent client-side multimedia player engineered to render digital audio/video streams formatted in standard protocols (including HTTP, HTTPS, HLS, RTMP, RTSP, and TS). The Application supports:

• Playlist Import: Loading user-provided M3U and M3U8 playlist files or remote URLs.
• Xtream Codes API: Authenticating directly with the user's private or subscribed server (Server Address, Username, Password).
• Electronic Program Guide (EPG): Parsing and displaying standard XMLTV format guide information provided by your stream provider.
• Playback Features: Subtitle rendering, picture-in-picture, audio track selection, casting (Chromecast/DLNA), and user-organized favorites.

Upon installation, the Application is completely devoid of any pre-configured content, channel lists, sample media, or links to third-party providers.

2. User Content, Legality, and Copyright Obligations

You retain sole responsibility for any and all content, streams, playlists, or links that you input, import, or play through the Application ("User Content"). By using the Application, you represent, warrant, and agree that:

• You possess all necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to access and view the User Content.
• Your use of the Application will not violate any applicable local, national, or international copyright, intellectual property, or telecommunications laws.
• You will not use the Application to distribute, rebroadcast, or publicly display copyrighted content without explicit permission from the rights holder.
• You acknowledge that we exercise no editorial control, prior review, or real-time monitoring over the content you choose to load or stream.

3. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Infringing Use: Using the Application to decode, stream, or share pirated media, unauthorized pay-TV feeds, or illegal broadcasts.
• Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, reverse engineering, disassembling, modifying, or creating derivative works of the Application's source code or binaries.
• Security Interference: Circumventing, disabling, or tampering with any security-related or digital rights management (DRM) features of the Application.
• Automated Abuse: Using bots, automated scripts, or scrapers to access, extract data from, or interfere with the normal operation of the Application.
• Unlawful Activity: Using the Application for any fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful purpose or in violation of Google Play Developer Distribution agreements.

4. User Accounts, Credentials & Local Storage

IPTV Player does not require you to create a proprietary account with us to use the player.

• All authentication details (such as Xtream Codes server URLs, usernames, passwords), M3U playlists, watch history, and channel favorites are stored exclusively locally on your device.
• We do not operate backend servers that receive, copy, or store your private credentials or streaming links.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your device and the confidentiality of your third-party IPTV server credentials.

5. In-App Purchases, Subscriptions & Billing

The Application may offer optional premium features (such as ad removal, advanced audio/video decoders, multiple playlist management, or premium player controls) via in-app purchases or subscriptions.

• Payment Processing: All in-app transactions and subscriptions are billed and processed securely and exclusively through the Google Play In-App Billing API (or the applicable official app store platform). We do not collect or store financial or credit card information.
• Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the renewal date via your Google Play account settings.
• Cancellations & Refunds: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the Google Play Store Subscriptions menu. All refund requests are governed by and subject to Google Play's standard refund policies.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Application—including but not limited to the software code, user interface design, logos, visual assets, algorithms, and documentation—are and will remain the exclusive property of IPTV Player and its licensors.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, limited license to download, install, and use the Application for your personal, non-commercial media playback purposes.

7. Third-Party Services, Servers & External Links

The Application interacts directly with third-party servers and protocols specified by you (e.g., your streaming server, third-party EPG providers, casting receivers). We have no control over and assume no liability for:

• The uptime, stability, quality, buffering, or availability of third-party streaming servers.
• The accuracy, legality, or completeness of Electronic Program Guide (EPG) metadata or stream contents provided by third parties.
• The privacy policies or terms of service of third-party server providers.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE PLAYBACK.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS, THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE OPERATION OF THE APPLICATION WILL BE FREE FROM INTERRUPTIONS, GLITCHES, DELAYS, OR BUFFERING CAUSED BY EXTERNAL NETWORK OR SERVER CONDITIONS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL IPTV PLAYER, ITS DEVELOPERS, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA LOSS, DEVICE MALFUNCTION, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION OR ANY USER CONTENT STREAMED THROUGH IT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APPLICATION EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU (IF ANY) TO US FOR THE APPLICATION DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless IPTV Player, its developers, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of the Application;
• Your User Content, stream sources, or playlists;
• Your violation of these Terms or any applicable laws, including copyright infringement;
• Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights.

11. Copyright Infringement & DMCA Compliance

IPTV Player strictly respects intellectual property rights. Because IPTV Player is a local client-side software player that does not host, store, cache, index, or stream any media files on central servers, we have no technical ability to disable or remove streams hosted on third-party remote servers.

If you are a copyright owner or authorized representative and believe that content accessible via a user-configured stream infringes your copyright, you should direct your takedown notice to the hosting provider, content delivery network (CDN), or streaming service hosting the infringing source directly.

12. Termination

We reserve the right, without notice and at our sole discretion, to terminate or restrict your license to use the Application if you violate these Terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or use the Application in a manner that creates legal liability for us.

You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the Application from all your devices and discontinuing all use.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms at any time to reflect changes in our services, technical features, legal requirements, or platform store policies. When changes occur, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the Application following any such revisions constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law & Severability

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your local jurisdiction and general international commercial law, without giving effect to any conflict of law principles. If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
