MetaCam ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the MetaCam mobile application.

MetaCam is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, sell, or share any of your personal information.

Local Processing

All image processing, including watermark application and EXIF data reading, occurs locally on your device. Your photos and metadata are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party servers.

2. Permissions and Data Access

To provide its core functionality, MetaCam requires access to certain features on your device. These permissions are used strictly for the purposes described below:

• Photo Library (Import/Export): Used to import images for watermarking and to save processed images back to your gallery.
• Camera: Used to capture new photos directly within the app.
• Location Services: Used to determine your current coordinates solely for the purpose of adding location-based metadata (geotagging) to your watermarks if you choose to include them. This location data is processed locally and never transmitted.

3. Third-Party Services

MetaCam does not incorporate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-sharing SDKs. Your app experience is entirely private and free from third-party tracking.

4. Payments

All financial transactions and subscriptions are handled exclusively by the Apple App Store. We do not collect or store any of your credit card or billing information. Please refer to Apple's privacy policy for details on how they manage payment data.

5. Security

Since no personal data is collected or transmitted by MetaCam, there is no risk of your personal information being compromised through our application.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
